Following the cancellation of the Marulan Australia Day celebrations this year, the Committee, after consultation with Gunlake, Marulan Australia Day’s major sponsor, decided to donate this year’s unspent sponsorship funds to the Marulan Rural Fire Brigade.
Gunlake representatives, Geoff Kettle and Andrew Wade were in attendance recently, when Marulan Australia Day Committee President, Tegan Rups and Committee Treasurer, Ally Pugh, presented a cheque to Marulan Rural Fire Brigade President, Ken Wray. Ken is also a member of the Gunlake Quarries Community Consultative Committee.
Brigade representative, Jim Divall, advised that the funds will go towards the construction of a new training room.
As a 100% Australian family owned company, Gunlake is very proud to support our local community.
Gunlake Concrete will re-open on Monday 2nd August, in line with the latest NSW Government health advice for Greater Sydney. Please contact your sales representative for any further information, assistance or to place an order.

We have also implemented the following steps to minimise the spread of COVID-19 and maintain the safety of our customers and staff:
We have increased across all our sites the availability of hygiene products, we are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our plants and trucks, and our team are constantly being educated on the current Government hygiene advice.
We have strict protocols in place for all our delivery drivers to implement social distancing protocols to limit contact with customers and colleagues.
We have limited the access to all our sites to relevant production personnel only.
All our employees have been notified to self-report any symptoms and to self-isolate when required, in keeping with the current Government advice.
In these challenging times, Gunlake will continue to monitor and respond whenever necessary to this evolving situation. We will ensure to communicate with our customers, contractors and staff members how we are managing the situation, as circumstances change, as we strive to ensure the wellbeing of our customers, employees and our business as a whole.
