With 12 years of experience in the transport industry, Scott New has been a valuable member of the Gunlake team for the past seven years. Scott began his career with Gunlake as a tipper driver, spending three years on the road before advancing through several key roles within the company.

Scott first transitioned to Tipper Allocator, where he coordinated both internal and external trucks to and from Gunlake’s batch plants. He then progressed to Tipper Supervisor, taking on responsibilities for compliance and the efficient allocation of trucks across the fleet. As Transport Manager, Scott managed the day-to-day operations of the tipper fleet and ensured compliance with internal and external NHVR standards.

In August 2024, Scott was appointed Group Transport Manager, expanding his oversight to include Gunlake’s Concrete and Quarry fleets. His comprehensive experience across operational and compliance aspects of transport makes him an integral leader within the Gunlake Group.
