Gunlake Concrete are proud to play a part in supporting Ronald McDonald House Westmead.

Gunlake have come on board as a concrete partner and will help build the foundation of our new ‘home away from home’. They have also made a generous donation directly to the house project which will go towards the $33 million target needed to build our new house.

Simon O’Neil, Managing Director of Gunlake Concrete said, “We first heard about the project through our customer, FDC construction & Fitout Pty Ltd and they mentioned they were looking for interested parties to donate to the project.

“We like to support the local communities that we work in and do annual donations through our company/family foundations.

“Outside of this we also target key individual projects that some of our customers bring to us, predominantly to do with hospitals and more importantly child-related.

“I am looking forward to learning more about Ronald McDonald House Westmead during this project. It is something that I have heard a lot of positive things about, but never actually been involved in.

“As a father of four young children I have spent some time in hospital with fairly minor illnesses compared to a lot of the parents that need the Ronald McDonald House services, so I think it is a wonderful service for those people in real need and Gunlake is proud to be part of it,” concluded Simon.
