Does the code of contact for drivers include not throwing out rubbish? If so, how is this checked?

Yes. Gunlake staff regularly drive the haul route at various times throughout the day and monitor truck driver behaviour, If you see anyone throwing rubbish from trucks , we ask you to report this to the quarry.

We have strict protocols in place for all our delivery drivers to implement social distancing protocols to limit contact with customers and colleagues.
We have limited the access to all our sites to relevant production personnel only.
All our employees have been notified to self-report any symptoms and to self-isolate when required, in keeping with the current Government advice.
In these challenging times, Gunlake will continue to monitor and respond whenever necessary to this evolving situation. We will ensure to communicate with our customers, contractors and staff members how we are managing the situation, as circumstances change, as we strive to ensure the wellbeing of our customers, employees and our business as a whole.
