Gunlake was very proud to be the major sponsor of this year’s Marulan Kite Festival Gunlake Quarries Art Show. Each year the competition increases with some outstanding works being on display in the Marulan Hall during the Kite Festival on Sunday 22nd September.
We are also very proud to have jointly funded the new BBQ cover in Tony Onions Park. The new structure was quite a talking point at the Kite Festival.
The BBQ cover is an initiative of the Marulan Village Plan Working Party, built by a local Marulan business and is a community project funded 100% by Gunlake and Boral.
Gunlake is committed to supporting local events and projects that benefit our local community.
We always encourage community feedback by visiting our website at: www.gunlake.com.au/contact/ or by calling Gunlake Quarry on 02 4841 1344.
Gunlake Concrete will re-open on Monday 2nd August, in line with the latest NSW Government health advice for Greater Sydney. Please contact your sales representative for any further information, assistance or to place an order.

We pride ourselves on always providing our customers with a high-level of service, and we have implemented wide-ranging safety measures to ensure we limit the spread of COVID-19. Gunlake is adopting Government policy relating to self-isolation, social distancing and travel restrictions. We have also implemented the following steps to minimise the spread of COVID-19 and maintain the safety of our customers and staff:
We have increased across all our sites the availability of hygiene products, we are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our plants and trucks, and our team are constantly being educated on the current Government hygiene advice.
We have strict protocols in place for all our delivery drivers to implement social distancing protocols to limit contact with customers and colleagues.
We have limited the access to all our sites to relevant production personnel only.
All our employees have been notified to self-report any symptoms and to self-isolate when required, in keeping with the current Government advice.
In these challenging times, Gunlake will continue to monitor and respond whenever necessary to this evolving situation. We will ensure to communicate with our customers, contractors and staff members how we are managing the situation, as circumstances change, as we strive to ensure the wellbeing of our customers, employees and our business as a whole.
Please get in contact with your account manager for any queries relating to this communication or should you suspect any cases of COVID-19 are on your site.
